Cancer

Cancer is described as the abnormal uncontrolled growth of cells in the body.

Some causes of cancer include radiation, genetics, obesity and environmental toxins.

Cancer can affect any organ or tissue in the body.

Common cancers in men are prostate, lung, colon and bladder cancer.

In women the common cancers include breast, lung, colon and uterine cancer. Some symptoms include fatigue, malaise, fever, chills and loss of appetite.

The tests done include but are not limited to blood tests, biopsy, CT scan and MRI. Management includes radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery.
