Fellowship

Fellowship training is sub-specialization in the area you specialized in during residency training. You also get paid during this period and work under supervision, but typically to a limited degree. For example, if you finish residency training in Internal medicine and you want to become a nephrologist you have to undergo fellowship training.  Duration of fellowship training differs depending on your area of interest.
