Medical School

Medical school is over 4 years of hard work and dedication. The first 2 years of medical school cover what are called basic medical science subjects while the last 2 years are typically hospital, clinical, and office based rotations devoted to Clinical Medicine.

The first two years of medical school typically consist of:
  • Gross anatomy
  • Embryology
  • Histology
  • Neuroscience
  • Physiology
  • Pharmacology
  • Immunology
  • Microbiology
  • Behavioral Science


    The last two year of medical school typically consists of:

      • Internal medicine
      • General surgery
      • Obstetrics/Gynecology
      • Pediatrics
      • Family medicine
      • Psychiatry

       The medical student is also given the opportunity to utilize electives to experience special areas of interest such as:

      • Neurological Surgery
      • Neurology
      • Hematology
      • Oncology
      • Plastic Surgery
      • Ophthalmology
      • Radiology
      • Anesthesia
